What's the Catch?

What’s the catch? There isn’t one.

We know are going “off the map,” but we believe God is in it and will bless us.

Some might ask: Isn’t this just a way to trick Jews into converting and becoming Christians? Or a way to trick Christians into going “back under the Law”? Or a way of ignoring the tenets of each of these faith traditions? Or…?

But it isn’t. We know we can’t wave a wand and make anyone’s suspicions or objections vanish. But we repudiate the animosity, willful ignorance and evil that has sadly been so common over the centuries. We will not do that anymore, to anyone.

If you are a Jew, you will be respected and loved. You will not be pressured to become a Christian.

If you are a Christian, you will be respected and loved. You will not be pressured to become a Jew.

If you are neither, you will be respected and loved. You will not be pressured to become either.

But we will eagerly study the Torah, writings and prophets, and the teachings of Jesus and his followers. They all truly teach us to love, and to heal the world.

We are unashamed to learn from all of these.
